Our Story

Hi-Land Farm was founded 30 plus years ago in Cornish, NH.  It all started with our grandparents Jean and Gerry Hurlburt.  Jeanie loved the show ring and stayed up at night planning breeding programs so she could win Grand Champion ribbons, and succeeded.  In 1997 Jeanie decided to start making goat cheese and saw success with their cheeses showing up all over New Hampshire and Vermont at co-ops, stores and farmers markets. Their cheeses were so good restaurants in NYC regularly requested them!

In 2013 we decided to take over the family farm to carry on the farm name and the recipes that so many people enjoyed.  We both grew up loving animals and farming and knew we wanted to raise our family farming.  We are so happy to be carrying on the family tradition.

We look forward to the opportunity of having you be part of our continuing story.

In 2017 we decided to sell the farm and focus mainly on raising quality Bracco Italiano's. We are sorry to give up the farm and stop producing our products for our loyal customers, but also excited to have more time to devote to raising, breeding and training our dogs.
